Victoria has historically been a world leader in road trauma reduction and future strategies must adopt strong and ambitious tactics. Clear targets for trauma reduction within well-defined timeframes are essential, as is the adoption of ambitious and proactive policies. The Victorian State Committee and Victorian Trauma Committee of RACS are pleased to see an inquiry into the rising road toll and provide recommendations to the terms of reference.
