The South Australian state election will be held on 19 March 2022. The RACS South Australian Committee identified six key focus areas relevant to the election:
- Emergency Surgery and Ramping
- Clinician engagement
- Infrastructure and technology
- Ongoing Covid-19 response
- South Australian Audit of Surgical Mortality
- Use of the title ‘Surgeon’
The Committee has written to political parties seeking their response to a range of questions.
