RACS is celebrating CrazySocks4Docs Day on Friday 3 June 2002. Wear your zaniest, most colourful socks to support mental health for doctors and start a wellbeing conversation with your peers.
The day will be launched by a breakfast session hosted by Doctors’ Health SA. Speakers include Dr Geoffrey Toogood, CrazySocks4Docs Day founder who has lived experience of depression and Dr Tahnee Bridson, Queensland Young Australian of the Year and founder of Hand-n-Hand Peer Support.
RACS promoted CrazySocks4Docs Day at the recent ASC in Brisbane with a sock giveaway at the RACS booth. Post a picture of your socks on social media using #CrazySocks4Docs to share your support.
Need to Talk? The RACS Support Program (delivered by Converge International) provides RACS members and their family with up to four free and confidential sessions to talk about any professional or personal concerns.
Concerned about a colleague? View tips and conversation starters.
Want to raise doctor wellbeing at work? Start with the Wellbeing Charter for Doctors.
