RACS Global Health would like to introduce you to the newest group of Foundation Year doctors, who began their training with us at the National Hospital in Dili, Timor-Leste, in June 2017.

Over the following 12 months, these 30 doctors will complete five rotations across various core specialties, arriving at the end of their training with the skills to apply in community health facilities across Timor (particularly in rural areas) or enter into one of our Postgraduate Diploma programs in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Anaesthesia or Ophthalmology.

These doctors are Timor-Leste's future medical leaders and mentors, and we're very proud to be working with them as they embark on this journey. ATLASS II is funded by the Australian Government, and implemented in partnership with the national hospital, national university and the Government of Timor-Leste's Ministry of Health. (Absent: Dr Maria Talo and Dr Deonisio de Jesus).
