The RACS Post Op Podcast series features extended interviews on articles in the current issue of Surgical News magazine, plus practical advice that surgeons can implement in their practices, including insights on financial management, wealth creation, legal and tax advice and economic forecasts.

The podcasts are an excellent opportunity to pre-showcase research and innovation in surgery prior to an Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) or Congress, and allows the surgeon, whether he or she is a Fellow, Trainee or IMG, to express themselves, elaborate on research, get excited and enthusiastic and therefore give RACS an identity. The podcast is a sneak preview, a taster if you like, and an exciting way for industry to remain abreast of innovation in surgery. The more industry knows what kind of work is being done out there, the more that work can be discussed, fleshed out and from there new concepts arise.

The series also allows members to familiarise themselves with other Fellows in similar fields, across Australia and New Zealand. With today's growing need for alternative communication methods, flexible learning and all-hours access to information, the RACS' Post Op Podcast series provides Fellows and members of the public with current, informative and unique dialogue to suit a variety of audiences.

No longer do you need to wait for a magazine to be produced to engage or learn something new, so tune in!
