Dr Barry McCabe

Overview

Dr Barry McCabe is a General and Colorectal surgeon who also performs endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy). 

• Completed his subspecialty training in colorectal surgery through the Colorectal Society of Australia & New Zealand (CSSANZ) in 2012, and has a subspecialty colorectal practice.
• Received the Brian Smith Memorial Award in 2009 for his research into colorectal cancer.
• Trained in minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic and robotic) and the endoscopic removal of bowel polyps and cancer.
• Performs
• anorectal surgery for fissure, fistula & haemorrhoids
• general surgery for hernia, gallstones, ingrown toenail, pilonidal sinus, carpal tunnel syndrome, phimosis, subcutaneous lumps & skin lesions & vasectomy
• Has a number of Practice Locations in Sydney. 
• Operates at The Sydney Private Hospital,  Westmead Private Hospital & Holroyd Private Hospital.
