Mr Peter Stavrou

Overview

Dr Stavrou has interest in minimally invasive (keyhole) Foot and Ankle surgery, patient specific Total Ankle Replacement and patient specific Total Knee Replacement. He is involved in post graduate teaching and research, presenting regularly at national and international meetings.

Dr Stavrou completed training in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2002 and then undertook fellowships in Knee, Foot and Ankle surgery in Toronto, Canada and Brisbane, Queensland. He has been in private and public practice in Adelaide since 2003.

In 2006 he was awarded the International Travelling Fellowship of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society, visiting centres of excellence in Los Angeles, San Franciso, Portland, Seattle and Vancouver.
