Dr Anthony Dat
Overview
Dr Anthony Dat is an Australian trained Urologist. He currently has public appointments as a VMO Urologist at Monash Health and Alfred Health with a particular focus on complex renal stones and urological cancers. He consults and operates privately at Epworth Eastern and Mulgrave Private. He is also an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer, Department of Surgery, School of Clinical Sciences - Monash Health, Monash University.
Born and bred in Ipswich Queensland, Anthony graduated from medical school at Bond University. He moved to Victoria for surgical training and completed Urology training via the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ) training scheme. He obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2022 where he was awarded the Peter Lawson Award for Best Victorian Registrar. He then completed further subspecialty training in uro-oncology and robotic surgery at Oxford University Hospital NHS Trust in 2025. He has postgraduate Masters degrees in Surgery from the University of Sydney as well as a Masters of Science (Surgical Science and Practice) from Oxford University.
