Associate Professor Bhavesh Patel

Overview

Bhavesh works as a paediatric surgeon in Brisbane and Sunshine Coast, both in public and private practice. His interests include systems design, education, technology (digital health / AI), patient engagement and health literacy. 

- He serves on a variety of international, national and state committees for his craft, education, governance and digital health. 

- State Clinical Lead for Surgical Quality Improvement at Clinical Excellence Queensland, and leads the Australian Paediatric collaborative for the National Safety and Quality Improvement Program.

- Associate Professor at University of Queensland, and Honorary Adjunct Associate Professor at Bond University.
