Dr Brendan Dias
Overview
Dr Brendan Dias is a urologist and renal surgeon with fellowship training in uro-oncology, endourology, advanced laparoscopy and robotic surgery. He provides patient centered urological services with a sub-speciality interest in reconstructive urology, male and female functional urology and minimally invasive uro-oncology.
Dr Dias is also a fellowship trained renal transplant surgeon having completed a fellowship in renal transplant and vascular access surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in 2019. During his time in Adelaide he was involved in setting up the pancreas transplant programme in South Australia.
Dr Dias is an advocate for evidence based surgical practice with a focus on personalised multidisciplinary patient centric care. He lays a strong emphasis on delivering a quality doctor-patient interaction. Dr Dias is a good communicator and strives to provide professional surgical care that is tailored to the individual needs and best interests of his patients.
Dr Dias is a keen clinical researcher and has worked across multiple health networks in Melbourne, Adelaide, Belgium and India. He holds an honorary academic appointment with the University of Melbourne and is actively involved in teaching medical students and training the next generation of surgeons.
