Dr Clair Whelan

Overview

Though originally from Sydney, Dr Whelan completed part of her training in Orange and Bathurst and moved back permanently in 2011.

She offers a general urological surgery service covering a wide range of subspecialty interests including stones, oncology and incontinence. 

She is passionate about rural medicine and life-long learning.

Since returning to Orange she has restored the hospital’s position as an accredited urology training post and medical student rotation.

 In addition to teaching, Dr. Whelan supports the Sydney Swans, regularly practices yoga and has developed recent loves of running and making copious quantities of chutneys, jams and sauces.
