Dr Emily Young
Overview
Dr Emily Young graduated from the University of Leeds Medical School in 2005. Since then she has become specialized in the field of Otorhinolaryngology. She undertook speciality training at various hospitals in the United Kingdom including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham gaining her Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2016.
Dr Young has completed advanced fellowship training in Vancouver, at Canada’s leading hospitals, including St Paul’s Hospital and Vancouver General Hospital, under the tutelage of Dr Brian Westerberg and Dr Jane Lea specializing in the area of neuro-otology and otology. She was awarded the Colledge Family Fellowship fund and during her fellowship abroad Emily obtained her Masters in Public Health from the University of Liverpool.
Dr Young treats all general adult and pediatric ENT conditions. She also has a specialist interest in chronic ear disease including the management of cholesteatoma, ear drum perforations and balance disorders. Dr Young has published in a number of leading journals and presented at international conferences in the field of ENT. Emily welcomes all ENT referrals.
Outside of medicine, Emily enjoys travel, painting, hiking and spending quality time with her friends and family.
