Dr. Jonathan Quinn is an Australian-trained orthopaedic surgeon with a subspecialty focus in complex and revision hip and knee arthroplasty, as well as lower limb trauma. He completed his medical degree at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, followed by orthopaedic training throughout Queensland. Further advancing his expertise, Dr. Quinn undertook the esteemed Nottingham Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Fellowship in the United Kingdom under the mentorship of Mr. Benjamin Bloch and Mr. Andrew Manktelow.
Dr. Quinn holds a Master’s Degree by Research in Revision Total Knee Arthroplasty and has published widely in both Australian and international orthopaedic journals. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association. In addition, he has completed an Associate Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators, reflecting his strong interest in clinical leadership and healthcare management.
Based in Brisbane, Dr. Quinn serves as both an orthopaedic surgeon and the Director of Orthopaedics at the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital. In his leadership role, he is dedicated to advancing orthopaedic care, promoting innovation in surgical practice, and fostering collaborative, patient-centred care. His commitment to ongoing research, clinical excellence, and system improvement underscores his contributions to the field of orthopaedic surgery.
