Dr Jonathon Ball

Overview

Dr Ball works in the Department of Neurosurgery and Spine Surgery at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. He has a spine only practice and works in the Spinal Injuries Unit, providing services to spinal injured patients from the northern half of NSW. He also cares for patients at the North Shore Private Hospital. He has active interests in surgical education for the College - as a Senior Instructor for EMST (see spinesurgeon.sydney for more details). Dr Ball studied medicine and medical science at the University of Newcastle. He completed neurosurgery training at Liverpool, Royal North Shore, John Hunter and Westmead Children's Hospitals. He completed further training in spine surgery with a combined neurosurgery/orthopaedic spine surgery fellowship at the University of Calgary in Canada.  He has also studied Biomedical Engineering at the University of New South Wales with ongoing interests in this area.  (see spinesurgeon.sydney for more details)
