Dr Mark Kao
Overview
Dr Mark Kao is trained in orthopaedic surgery through the Australian Orthopaedic Association training program in Sydney. He specialises in the treatment of lower limb conditions (hip and knee, foot and ankle), sports injuries and general orthopaedic trauma.
Dr Kao is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, as well as a fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association. Prior to this he completed his Physiotherapy Degree at the University of Sydney and practiced as a physiotherapist for a couple of years. He is a current member of the Australian Foot and Ankle Society.
Dr Kao takes pride in the quality of care for all his patients. He is passionate with his work and his patients enjoy the friendly and easy to understand terminology used during consultations. Dr Kao strives for the best outcome for his patients and practices evidence based medicine. He is keen on research and has published and presented in multiple local and international peer-reviewed journals and meetings.
