Dr Mathew 'Mat' Jacob
Overview
Dr Jacob is an Australian trained general surgeon with sub-specialty interest and training in colorectal surgery. He holds provisional membership of CSSANZ and a prestigious post-fellowship Master of Minimally Invasive Surgery (MMIS) from the University of Adelaide. He is a strong advocate of high quality surgical services for regional Australians.
Dr Jacob currently works in Ballarat and is employed as a colorectal and general surgeon at both the Ballarat Base hospital and SJOG Ballarat. He has visiting rights at Maryborough, Ararat and Stawell hospital. He is the current chair of the Grampians health Colorectal multidisciplanary meeting.
