Overview

Dr Matthew Broadhurst is an Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon based in Brisbane. He is Fellowship trained in laryngeal surgery and voice restoration and his practice primarily involves management of voice and throat disorders and sleep disordered breathing, including snoring and sleep apnoea. His treament involves use of angiolytic lasers including the KTP green light and Wolf blue light lasers.

Being Fellowship trained in laryngeal surgery and voice restoration, Dr Matthew Broadhurst has a unique ability to provide assessment and management strategies for patients with voice disorders, including hoarseness, vocal cord paralysis, throat cancer, vocal cord nodules, vocal cord cysts, polyps, spasmodic dysphonia and airway stenosis that is beyond the scope of general ear, nose and throat surgeons.

Dr Matthew Broadhurst has a special interest in caring for the professional voice patient. He completed an additional two years of specialty training and advanced techniques in laryngeal surgery and voice restoration at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, USA under the guidance of world renowned and innovative laryngeal surgeon Professor Steven Zeitels.
