Dr Michael Yunaev

Overview

Dr Michael Yunaev has started his training in medicine and surgery at University of Sydney in the year 2000.

He has subsequently received a fellowship in General Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons undertaking his training at Westmead Hospital Sydney.

He developed a strong interest in surgical management of breast conditions and aesthetic breast surgery and went on to complete further post-fellowship training in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, traveling around Australia to gain the necessary experience for 2 years, as well as attending multiple conferences and courses worldwide in eminent locations such as Milan, Dallas and Auckland and working with pioneers in oncoplastic surgery.

During this time he also studied in Master of Surgery program at University of Sydney, publishing a dissertation in oncoplastic breast surgery.

Dr Yunaev subsequently returned to Sydney to set up his private practice in Oncoplastic Breast and General Surgery.
