• I am certified member of gastrointestinal society of Australia and perform colonoscopy and gastroscopy.

I successfully completed post graduate training in Brisbane Queensland Australia and obtained fellowship in General Surgery (FRACS) in 2011.

My other areas of interest are:

I successfully completed 4 years of advanced surgical training in general surgery in Princess Alexandra hospitalBrisbane which is the centre of excellence for surgical training in Australia.I have been working as consultant surgeon for 6 years and have performed multiple advanced laparoscopic abdominal procedures.   I have very broad surgical experience and prior to arriving in Australia in 2002 I have been working as a general surgeon in different hospitals in south Africa (KwaZulu-Natal ) where I obtained enormous amount of experience and skills especially with managing trauma and advanced surgical conditions. But it was my training Australia where I polished my laparoscopic skills. Iam also a fellow of Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians(Glasgow) and obtained a FRCS in 2000
