Dr Thomas 'Tom' Clifton

Overview

Mr Clifton is a subspecialist shoulder and upper limb orthopaedic surgeon in Perth, Western Australia. 

He completed his orthopaedic training in Perth, during which time he was elected president of the Australian Orthopaedic Registrar Association. He then completed clinical fellowships at the world renowned Sydney Shoulder Research Institute and the Wrightington Upper Limb Unit in the United Kingdom. 

He has a special interest in sporting injuries of the upper limb and arthritis management, including shoulder and elbow replacement, revision replacement, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and surgery for dislocation of the shoulder. 

He works in the public system at Sir Charles Gairdner and Osborne Park Hospital and consults privately at Perth Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in West Perth.
