Mr Elan Kaplan

Overview

Elan Kaplan completed his Surgical training at the Alfred Hospital. He completed his Surgical Fellowship in 2011 on an Oesophagogastric and Upper Gastrointestinal Unit at the Peninsula Health. Elan Kaplan has published a presented a number of papers in world renowned journals and at international meetings.

Elan worked as a full time surgeon at Peninsula Health for the 2 years, during this time he treated over 2,000 patients and performed over 900 elective and emergency operations across a broad range of general surgery.

Elan Kaplan continues to attend major conferences in Australia and abroad & has continued close relationships with his colleagues. He constantly stays up to date with the developing treatments available and trends in Hernia Surgery, recently attending the 1st World Conference on Abdominal Wall Hernia Surgery.
