Dr Evan Williams
Overview
Dr. Evan Williams is a subspecialty-trained Colorectal and General Surgeon, dedicated to delivering excellence in surgical care across North Brisbane and the Redcliffe Peninsula. He operates publicly at Redcliffe Hospital, MetroNorth, and is pleased to offer private services at The Wesley Hospital and Peninsula Private Hospital. Dr. Williams completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 2011 and trained in General Surgery at the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, before becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2020. He then undertook two years of advanced colorectal training as amember of the Australian & New Zealand Colorectal Fellowship Training Program.With 15 peer-reviewed research publications, he is actively engaged in advancing surgical knowledge and techniques. His expertise has been recognized nationally, earning invitations to speak at the RACS Annual Scientific Conference. As a RACS Supervisor of Registrar Training, he is committedto the education and mentorship of future surgeons. Dr. Williams provides comprehensive surgical care, utilising the latest evidence-based techniques to optimise patient outcomes. He welcomes referrals for a wide range of colorectal and general surgical conditions and looks forward to collaborating with colleagues to provide the highest standard of patient care.
