Dr Grant Menegon

Overview

Dr Grant Menegon is a Queensland trained orthopaedic surgeon who has a special interest in surgery of the hip, knee and shoulder. He has sub specialist fellowship training in complex orthopaedic trauma and limb reconstruction surgery. 

Dr Menegon is from North Queensland and attended James Cook University for his medical school degree and graduated in 2010. He has worked throughout Queensland and finished his orthopaedic surgery training in 2024. He has completed a one year fellowship at the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital, specializing in complex orthopeadic trauma (including pelvis and acetabular fracture surgery) and limb reconstruction surgery (revision hip and knee arthroplasty for infection; management of bone defects; correction of complex limb deformity). As a result of this training, Dr Menegon has a special interest in treating disorders of the hip knee & shoulder, as well as the management of acute orthopaedic trauma (fractures, sports injuries and soft tissue trauma). 

Dr Menegon is a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association as well as the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.  Dr Menegon works primarily at the Toowoomba Hospital as well as at St Andrew's Private Hospital Toowoomba.
