Dr Jada Kapoor
Overview
Dr Jada Kapoor is a fellowship-trained Urologic Surgeon specialising in robotic and reconstructive urology, with a strong focus on surgical innovation and improving patient outcomes. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand, as well as the American Urological Association.
Dr Kapoor earned her medical degree at The University of Melbourne and was the highest-achieving candidate in Urology during her Graduate Diploma of Surgical Anatomy. She completed advanced surgical training across Queensland and Victoria, with a fellowship focusing on complex urologic oncology and robotic surgery at St Vincent’s Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne. She subsequently undertook an international fellowship in Functional and Reconstructive Urology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York. She has published extensively, co-authored book chapters, and presented her research at national and international scientific meetings.
Dr Kapoor holds public appointments at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, Austin Hospital, and Northern Health, where she actively trains Urology registrars. She is also an examiner at Melbourne Medical School.
She is committed to evidence-based, patient-centred care, emphasising quality of life. Dr Kapoor offers minimally invasive and office-based procedures to minimise recovery time and optimise outcomes for her patients.
