Associate Professor Jason Chuen
Overview
Associate Professor Jason Chuen MBBS FRACS(Vasc) FACS MPH is a specialist vascular and endovascular surgeon in Melbourne and Director of Vascular Surgery at Austin Health. His clinical practice encompasses complex aortic disease, advanced endovascular reconstruction, carotid and peripheral arterial disease, venous disorders, and vascular access surgery.
He is Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Melbourne and Founding Director of 3DMedLab, Australia’s first hospital-embedded medical 3D imaging and printing laboratory supporting surgical planning, education, medical device innovation and translational research.
Associate Professor Chuen is actively involved in surgical education, training governance, audit and professional leadership at state and national levels. He provides independent expert opinion in medicolegal and research governance matters and contributes to health policy and medical technology translation.
