Dr Jennifer Ah Toy
Overview
Jennifer completed her training in Paediatric Surgery at Westmead Children’s Hospital in Sydney, and the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. Since then, she has worked as a Fellow at the Queensland Children’s Hospital (formerly Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital) in Brisbane. Jennifer works as a specialist paediatric surgeon within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service, while operating privately at Pindara Private Hospital and Gold Coast Private Hospital.
Jennifer has an interest in minimally invasive surgery for children and has trained broadly in all aspects of general paediatric surgery, including congenital head and neck conditions, thoracic surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, urology (including hypospadias) and paediatric burns and scar management. She is also passionate about training and education and formerly served as the Younger Fellow representative on the Australian and New Zealand Association of Paediatric Surgeons Executive Committee. Jennifer is also an instructor for the Early Management of Severe Trauma course through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
