Mr Jeremy Kam
Overview
Mr Jeremy Kam is a recognised expert Neurosurgeon specialising in Skullbase Pituitary Tumor, CSF leaks and Complex Spine Surgery at Monash and Cabrini Health.
Mr Kam obtained his MBBS at the University of Melbourne and was awarded a Masters of Medicine, Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Sydney. After completing the Australian Neurosurgical program, he completed accredited fellowships in Complex Spine Surgery at the Austin Hospital and Endoscopic Pituitary Surgery with the Melbourne Pituitary Group. Mr. Kam then undertook his international fellowship in Vancouver, Canada at the University of British Columbia Department of Neurosurgery to further specialise in open Skullbase Surgery.
Mr Kam has expertise in minimally invasive neurosurgery or keyhole surgery both to the spine and skull base. He also is the supervisor for non-accredited trainees at Monash Health and a clinical lecturer in the department of surgery at Monash University. He is passionate about achieving the best outcomes for his patients firstly from technical execution but also the research he conducts. He has authored many publications and focuses on clinical research and novel surgical techniques.
