Mr Kalpa Perera

Overview

Kalpa Perera is a vascular and endovascular surgeon trained in all aspects of arterial and venous disorders. He performs both open and the latest minimally invasive techniques and will tailor treatment to the specific needs of his patients. Kalpa runs the High Risk Foot Clinic (HRFC) at the Austin and has a keen interest in limb salvage in patients with limb threatening ischemia and diabetic foot disease. Kalpa also has a particular interest in complex endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms.

Kalpa graduated from the University of Melbourne and completed his junior years at Box Hill Hospital. He commenced his Vascular Surgery training at the major trauma centre of Royal Perth Hospital before spending his fellow years at major hospitals in Melbourne and Sydney. This includes the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Box Hill Hospital, Westmead Hospital, Frankston Hospital and Austin Health.

Kalpa has a public appointment at Austin Health and operates privately at Epworth Eastern, Warringal and Knox Private Hospitals. Kalpa consults in Heidelberg, Box Hill, Bundoora and Knox and is happy to be contacted directly on his mobile to discuss patients.
