Mr John Choi

Overview

I am an internationally fellowship trained Spine Orthopaedic Surgeon with interest in management of all spinal disorders including paediatric and adult spinal problems extending from Cervical spine to Lumbar spine. 

I have completed basic orthopaedic training in Melbourne and following this has completed a local fellowship in Spine and Arthroplasty surgery in NSW endorsed by the Australian Orthopaedic Association. After this experience, I have travelled to Hong Kong University (Internationally Renowned Spine Centre) for additional exposure in Spine surgery under Prof. Keith Luk and Prof. Kenneth Cheung. 

To better treat and to provide complete care in spine disorders, I have travelled further to important centres in South Korea and Japan (global leaders in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery) to mature and develop skills in complex cervical and lumbar spine surgery with the support of AO Spine and prestigious Shoinich Kokubun Tohoku University Foundation. 

To complete a truly global experience and skill set, I have also undertaken a full time clinical fellowship in UK.
