Mr Matthew Liava'a

Overview

Mr Matthew Liava'a received his primary medical degree from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. 

He then trained in Cardiothoracic Surgery in Melbourne, with extensive training in coronary revascularisation, valve repair, heart and lung transplantation, and adult congenital cardiac surgery. After attaining his Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery he completed training in Paediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiac surgery at the Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne, Australia and Columbia University Medical Centre, New York, USA.

He specialises in Adult and Paediatric Cardiac Surgery, he also performs Thoracic Surgery.
