NQ Vascular is a specialist centre in Townsville and Mackay treating all arterial & venous diseases and related conditions including varicose vein treatment.

Our practice has a strong focus on patient centred care, tailoring all treatments to suit individuals. At NQ Vascular we are able to diagnosis, investigate, manage and treat a full range of vascular disorders by either minimally invasive (endovascular) techniques or open surgical procedures.

Dr Ramesh Velu trained as a Vascular surgeon in India, UK & Australia and has Specialist registration with the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Dr Velu has worked in Birmingham UK, Perth WA, Hamilton NZ and Townsville NQ.He has extensive experience in endovascular surgical procedures along with the traditional open surgical procedures, in keeping with world best vascular practices.
