Overview

Sunny is a director and founding member of Melbourne Breast and Endocrine Surgeons (MBES). A highly experienced Breast Cancer and Oncoplastic Surgeon, Sunny delivers compassionate counsel and care. He focusses primarily on treatment planning for superior outcomes and combines this with a forward thinking surgical approach to deliver high rates of breast conservation with excellent cosmetic result. Where mastectomy is necessary or desired, Sunny incorporates skin +/- nipple preserving techniques for best breast reconstruction result.

Sunny gained his medical degree at The University of Melbourne prior to surgical training through Austin Hospital. Following admission to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Sunny completed fellowship years in advanced General Surgery at Dandenong Hospital and Breast and Oncological Surgery at Royal Perth Hospital. He accepted Breast and General Surgery Consultant posts at both Royal Perth and Fremantle Hospitals prior to returning to Melbourne with his young family to set up definitive public and private practices.
