Dr Rajpal 'Raj' Narulla
Overview
Dr Raj Narulla is an Australian Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Shoulder Surgery.
Raj spent his childhood in Hobart before moving to Sydney to complete his Medical Degree at UNSW and his Masters of Surgery degree at the University of Sydney.
Raj further trained in Sydney under the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) training scheme before completing his Fellowship Examination in 2023.
Raj subsequently travelled to Annecy, France, where he undertook a specialist Shoulder Surgery Fellowship under the landmark surgeons Laurent Lafosse and Thibault Lafosse at the ALPS Surgery Institute.
At ALPS Surgery Raj developed his interest in Arthroscopic Surgery and Shoulder Instability.
Raj is committed to improving surgical quality, surgical safety and surgical efficacy. To achieve this, he is in his third year of candidature of a PhD at the University of New South Wales, and has published 15 peer-reviewed scientific articles.
Raj is a Surgeon who is committed to working with each patient to return quality of life, in a shared journey.
