Dr Rebecca Shine

Overview

Dr Rebecca Shine is a Colorectal and General Surgeon working at Nelson Marlborough DHB. She completed her surgical training throughout New Zealand with the majority completed in Auckland. She specialized in colorectal surgery and did 2 years of post-training fellowships through CSSANZ. The first year in Melbourne and the second in Christchurch. 

She has a special interest in laparoscopic colorectal resections, transanal minimally invasive surgery, advanced endoscopy, and proctology. 

She also performs all general surgical procedures such as hernia (laparoscopic and open), gallbladder surgery and small bowel pathology.
