Dr Robert McCusker

Overview

Dr Rob McCusker is a specialist in Paediatric Urology, Paediatric Colorectal and Neonatal Surgery.

He trained as a Paediatric Surgeon across Australia and completed advanced fellowships in Paediatric Urology and Colorectal Surgery at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children in the UK, where he developed expertise in hypospadias and minimally invasive surgery.

Dr McCusker is a Staff Specialist at Gold Coast University Hospital and also operates at Pindara and John Flynn Private Hospitals. He holds a Masters of Trauma Science and a Diploma of Child Health. He is also an experienced educator and instructor in Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS), Emergency Management of Severe Trauma (EMST), and Emergency Management of Severe Burns (EMSB).
