Dr Shay Menham
Overview
Dr Shay Menham is an internationally trained Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon with advanced fellowship training in Australia.
Dr Menham has a dedicated practice in adult spine surgery, with a focus on degenerative spinal conditions, spinal deformity, and minimally invasive spinal surgery techniques.
Dr Menham has a strong interest in clinical research, surgical innovation and education. His research has focused on lumbar lordosis restoration, oblique access surgery, minimally invasive navigation and spinal deformity. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented internationally, including at Eurospine, Global Spine Congress, SMISS, Spine Week, the North American Spine Society and the Neurosurgical Society of Australasia.
He is an active member of national and international professional organisations including the Spine Society of Australia and AO spine.
Dr Menham’s clinical practice includes the management of Complex degenerative spinal disorders, Degenerative spinal deformity, Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (MIS) and anterior, oblique and Lateral access surgery as well as Spinal trauma.
