Dr Negin Sedaghat FRACS has a dedicated practice in caring for women and men across Sydney with a wide-range of surgical needs. Her clinical expertise spans Breast Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Endocrine Surgery and General Surgery, with a particular focus on breast cancer, breast health, parathyroid disease, and abdominal wall hernia.
Her practice is trusted by patients across generations for its thoughtful focus on health, confidence, and wellbeing. Dr Sedaghat combines advanced surgical expertise with an unwavering commitment to patient dignity and individualised care.
Dr Sedaghat is a Full Member of BreastSurgANZ and awarded the Sydney Professional Certificate in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery from the University of Sydney. Her subspecialty training includes appointments at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Westmead Breast Cancer Institute, and a Visiting Fellowship at the prestigious MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, USA - one of the world's top cancer treatment and research institutions.
Dr Sedaghat offers comprehensive assessment and advanced surgical care in diagnostic and therapeutic breast procedures (including complex oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery), parathyroid and thyroid surgery, abdominal wall and groin hernia repair, skin and soft-tissue lump removal.
Beyond clinical care, Dr Sedaghat is a respected contributor to academic and surgical advancement. Her research is published in leading national and international surgical journals, and she plays an active role in mentoring and teaching the next generation of doctors.
Dr Sedaghat is a member of both Breast Cancer and Endocrine Disease Multidisciplinary Teams, the MD Discipline Lead for Patient Safety and Quality at Macquarie University, a VMO Surgeon with BreastScreen NSW, and a Clinical Examiner with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
