The opportunity
This is a chance to step into an established practice rather than build from scratch. The incoming surgeon will enjoy a healthy balance of reconstructive, cosmetic and skin surgery, alongside a mature referral network, immediate operational support, and the freedom to shape their own clinical profile, case mix and operating commitments. The practice
Built over more than 22 years of consistent surgical practice, Advanced Aesthetics holds a strong reputation across plastic, reconstructive, cosmetic and skin cancer surgery. The clinic welcomes more than 400 new patients each year and operates across accredited private hospitals on the Gold Coast.
An experienced multidisciplinary team, practice management, a patient coordination team, registered nurses and qualified dermal clinicians support a full service offering. Alongside surgical work, the practice provides comprehensive skin health and non-surgical services, including in-room procedures, cosmetic facial treatments, laser therapies and skin rejuvenation. The practice is equipped with advanced laser and light technology to support high-quality patient care.
The candidate
Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Plastic Surgery and be eligible for private hospital accreditation. Surgeons at any career stage are warmly welcomed.

Townsville University Hospital is seeking a Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist to join a busy tertiary Urology service delivering high-quality care to a large regional population in North Queensland.
This modern 600+ bed facility provides a full range of specialties including intensive care, interventional radiology, PET imaging and radiation oncology.
The Urology Department performs over 600 operations and 500 outpatient procedures annually. The service is equipped for open, laparoscopic and endourological surgery, with expanding access to robotic-assisted surgery, and is progressing toward establishment of Queensland’s second kidney transplant program.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team including consultant staff, VMOs, a SET trainee and junior medical officers, contributing to clinical care, service development, teaching, and governance activities. The role offers a broad scope of practice with exposure to both elective and emergency urology in a high-volume tertiary setting.

• Eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA
• A Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Urology), or equivalent

About the Role
