Job Summary:

TUH is also a teaching hospital affiliated with James Cook University, supporting clinical education and research across northern Queensland.
We are seeking a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist - Urologist proficient in all aspects of general urology. The department performs over 600 operations and 500 outpatient procedures annually and is equipped for open and laparoscopic surgery. The team includes one Staff Consultant, two VMOs, one SET Urology Trainee, five Principal House Officers, and three junior doctors.
TUH has partnered with Mater Hospital Pimlico to expand access to Robotic Assisted Surgery for public and private patients.
Candidate Requirements:
• FRACS or equivalent qualification eligible for specialist registration in Australia
• Candidates who will be obtaining fellowship in the near future are encouraged to apply. Appointment will be at a lower classification level until minimum requirements for the Staff Specialist classification are obtained.
