The Module describes actions that enable health services to integrate sustainability and resilience strategies into their existing safety and quality frameworks, and aligns with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards. Health services can use the Module to support the delivery of high-quality care while reducing environmental impacts and addressing climate risks.
The Module supports clinical leadership to act on the Joint Statement on Working together to achieve sustainable high-quality health care in a changing climate. These create opportunities for the clinical workforce in environmental sustainability and support the goals of the National Health and Climate Strategy.
