The Victorian state election will be held on 26 November 2022. In preparation for this, the RACS Victorian State Committee has identified five key focus areas that are relevant to our members and the Victorian surgical community. These are:
- Essential and planned surgery waiting lists
- Surgical reform
- Infrastructure and surgical technology
- Protection of the title ‘surgeon’
- Victorian Audit of Surgical Mortality and Victorian Perioperative Consultative Council
