This is your opportunity to influence Council representation and shape the future of our College and profession, helping to advance our mission: to improve access, equity, quality, and delivery of surgical care that meets the needs of our diverse communities.
On 15 November an email will be sent from our external provider (BigPulse) with an individual personal access code to access the voting form (please also check spam/junk folders)
Fellowship Elected Councillors are elected by all Fellows. Specialty Elected Councillors are elected by the Fellows of the specialty.
In total, there are nine vacancies:
Election for Fellowship Elected Councillors
There are eight vacancies in the category of Fellowship Elected Councillor. All Fellows are asked to vote for the Fellowship Elected Councillors.
Election for Specialty Elected Councillors
There is one vacancy in the category of Specialty Elected Councillor for the following specialty: Orthopaedic Surgery. All Orthopaedic Surgery Fellows are asked to vote for their Specialty Elected Councillor.

Candidates are expected to observe the Campaigning during RACS Elections guidelines and the RACS Social Media Policy.
RACS has a robust and confidential election process and does not release data pertaining to individual election results in the interests of maintaining candidates’ privacy.

The three-year term of office commences at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 5 May 2025.
