Criteria
Established in 2000, the RACS Surgical Research Award is an honour created to recognise the contribution of a pre-eminent surgical scientist who has made significant contributions to surgical research. The individual must be nominated by a member of one of the following; Council, the Board of Surgical Research, a State/ACT/Aotearoa New Zealand Committee, a Specialty Board or by the Surgical Research Society.
