The RP Jepson Medal is in honour of Professor R.P. Jepson, a distinguished vascular surgeon and an important figure in the history of the University of Adelaide Medical School.

The award (an engraved medal) is awarded to a Fellow, SET trainee or IMG on a pathway to Fellowship, who presents a paper based on research material.

The RP Jepson Medal is presented during the SA, NT & WA Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) or during a papers’ day held at the College in SA if the ASM is not held in South Australia.
