Overview
The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) is the principal body for the training and education of surgeons in Australia and New Zealand. Accreditation is given by the Australian Medical Council, on behalf of the Medical Board of Australia, and the Medical Council of New Zealand to conduct training and education of surgeons in all specialties in Australia and New Zealand.
The responsibility of the administration of the Australian Orthopaedic Surgery Surgical Education and Training (SET) program of RACS has been delegated to the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
