Lindsay Grigg
Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Lindsay Grigg undertook his training in Melbourne, and then went to London where he undertook training in cardiothoracic surgery before returning to Australia. He also worked for a few years in Uganda where he did thoracic surgery and wrote about management of pyopericardium.

He worked for a year in Hong Kong and upon return to Australia worked as a thoracic and vascular surgery in Canberra until his retirement in 1991. He continued to be active in surgery and was assessing surgeons until a year before his death.
