2025 ACT Annual Scientific Meeting 

Our Convenors, Dr Hazel Serrao-Brown and Dr Christopher Lim, invite you to get involved with the highlight of the RACS ACT year, our Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) on Saturday 15 November, 2025. Here's how you can get involved.

Why the ACT ASM matters

ACT ASM Purpose

The Annual Scientific Meeting is designed to foster collaboration, share cutting-edge research, and spark dialogue around the most critical issues facing healthcare in the ACT today. It serves as a platform for professionals to exchange knowledge, showcase advancements, and inspire new approaches to clinical practice, policy, and innovation.

Your research, your moment | Call for Research Papers - three awards on offer | Submissions must close 16 October 2025

Do you have an interest in exploring innovations, challenges, and advancements in healthcare across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand? We invite you to submit a research paper/poster on your own research topic within the context of healthcare for this event.

Entries are now open until Thursday 16 October 2025. Awards will be given to:

- Best Poster Prize. Winner will receive a certificate and $250 Prezee gift card
- Best Oral Presentation. Winner will receive a certificate and $250 Prezee gift card
- Noel Tait Prize for Best Presentation by a Medical Student. The winner will receive a plaque and $250 Prezee gift card
