Recommended reading

Recommended reading information for Vascular Surgery (SSE in Vascular Surgery) Examination candidates.

The recommended reading list is not exhaustive, but covers the vast majority of the questions in each category. There have been chapters added to the reading material since 2024. Any questions derived from these chapters will not appear in any exam until June 2025. The extra chapters have been highlighted in red. The reading material from Guyton and Hall has been updated to the 14th Edition. There is very little change between the chapters in these editions, but chapter 37 has been added to the reading list.
