Overview

Trainees in Vascular Surgery SET are required to pass this examination by the end of SET 3. SET 1 trainees may apply for the SSE in Vascular Surgery but are not eligible to sit the SSE in Vascular Surgery until they have successfully completed their SET 1 requirements. All Trainees have a maximum of four attempts permitted.

Please note that registration for this exam closes at 11.59am (AEDT) on the closing date stipulated, late registrations will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Sitting the exam

Candidates are required to arrive at the examination venue at least 30 minutes prior to the examination start time with photo identification. This examination is delivered electronically.

Results

Candidates are awarded a result of pass or fail only for the examination. Results are available in the RACS Portfolio and via email approximately four weeks after the examination.
