Clinical Leader Masterclass: Managing ourselves, our time and others

The Surgical Directors Section is offering a complimentary Clinical Leader Masterclass in collaboration with Francis Health on Monday 6 May (Workshop Day) at the 2019 ASC, Bangkok. Francis Health works with health care organisations on performance improvement and offers leadership and team development opportunities across New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.

Date: Monday 6 May 2019
Time and Location: 12noon - 4.00pm, Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre, Thailand.

The masterclass is targeted at clinical leaders and will cover time management, poor performers, managing conflict in the workplace and self-care. This activity is approved in the RACS Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program. Places are limited.

2019 ASC Surgical Directors program

Tuesday 7 – Friday 10 May 2019 (with Quality and Safety Program)
Convener: Dr Simon Bann (Wellington)
International Visitor: Professor Gerald Hickson (Vanderbilt University, USA)

The themes for the Surgical Directors Program include building and leading a culture of change, unconscious bias, supporting the aging clinician and public reporting of surgical outcomes.

Section Dinner: Tuesday 7 May (combined with Quality & Safety and Surgical Education)
